Fingal Head Public School makes the most of both modern resources and our natural surroundings to support student learning. Our classrooms are equipped with up-to-date technology and creative tools, while our large outdoor spaces and coastal location provide unique opportunities for learning in nature. Our school provides a variety of learning spaces that keep students engaged, build their confidence and make each day enjoyable.

an original school building, modernised inside to create two spacious classrooms
an extra-large senior learning room, used flexibly to support collaboration, creativity and independent study
an all-weather multi-purpose hall with roller doors opening to the outdoors, ideal for music, assemblies and community events
expansive playground areas with two large fields for sport, games and playtime fun
three sandpits for creativity, problem-solving and social play
dedicated play spaces, including a playground, handball and basketball courts
a welcoming library for reading, research and quiet learning
a Dreamtime Pathway, our purpose-built cultural space featuring bush tucker and learning resources, connecting students and the community with Country
an onsite midden, a living reminder of the deep cultural significance of this land
access to nearby Fingal Head beaches and natural surrounds for outdoor learning and sustainability projects
shaded outdoor areas for play, learning and community gatherings
music and performance spaces supporting weekly specialist lessons and creative expression

3-6 Classroom. Spacious room used flexibly to support collaboration, creativity and independent study.

Our versatile all-weather building, with roller doors that open to the outdoors, is perfect for assemblies, performances, school-wide activities and creative learning.

Our sandpits support creativity, problem-solving and social play as children work together to design and build.

Resources and technology

Technology is an important part of learning, but at Fingal Head we make sure it is always purposeful and balanced. Our students use digital tools alongside handwriting, creative activities and outdoor learning, giving them the best of both worlds. We know this approach supports healthy brain development and matches what families value — a balance of technology and non-technology learning.
