High potential and gifted education
Fingal Head Public School is committed to recognising and nurturing the potential of every student. Guided by the NSW Department of Education High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) policy, we identify and support students who demonstrate high potential through personalised learning informed by strong relationships and a deep understanding of each child.
We provide an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow and challenge themselves across the creative, intellectual, physical and social-emotional domains. Through flexible teaching practices, targeted support and enrichment opportunities, students are supported to develop confidence, capability and a sense of pride in their learning.
At Fingal Head Public School, we believe high potential exists in all learners who feel supported to thrive.
